Un merveilleux livre que j'ai dévoré! Mon premier roman de pirates, moi qui est pourtant un grand fan de ses personnages, et certainement pas le dernier. J'ai adore ce livre qui relate les aventures d'une bande de pirates. Remplis d'actions et de personnages uniques et fort intéressants, ce livre va de rebondissement en rebondissement et ne cesse de vous surprendre. En plus de presenter des lieux riches et fort bien presents. C'était également mon premier livre de Crichton et j'avoue avoir bien hate de lire d'autres oeuvres de cet auteur fascinant. A lire absolument pour tous les fans de pirates.

Une histoire chaotique qui se déroule au coeur des bas fonds de Los Angeles. Ecrit sous forms de plusieurs courtes histoires ayant parfois certains liens entre ells parfois moins, ceci dresse un portrait du choquante vérité sur un côté plus sombre de cette grande métropole. Même si l'on ne peut qualifier ce livre de grand roman, son histoire se démarque par son style et son originalité et mérite le coup d'oeil pour ceux qui aime experimenter!

Good comic books. This volume contain the very first x-men comics, number 1 to 10. The characters. good and bad, are interesting and its really fun to see the beginning of such a great series. I find them a little bit repetitive and easy story, but when you remember that those comic books where written for an young public, you understand and forgive that. So not the best comic books of all time, but definitely a must for every X-Men fan, just so you know where it all begin!!

Still good the story his more and more intriguing, still not a big fan of the drawing but maybe it is just a difference of style, i'm no expert, they look good but i just couldn't find them amazing! Worth the time tough!

A really amazing book. If you are a fan of Arnold, from his day in bodybuilding, or has an actor, or a politician, you have to read this book. It is very well written and it's relate the life of this great men. I was more of a fan of his acting day, back in my childhood, but I found the part on bodybuilding really interesting and the political part as well, even if I'm not a really big fan of politics. Everything in there is tell with sincerity and honesty even the less honorable facts and I really appreciate this honesty. So a must if you are a fan, and if you don't know the men a lot, this his a good way to find out who he is and what he has done. Finally, I find this story inspiring in the way that, even if you start your life with barely nothing, everything is possible if you work hard enough for it!!

A very good book that relate the life of Fieldy, the bassist from Korn, my favorite band ever! f course i'm a fan of the band, that's why I wanted to read the book in the first place, but I find a lot more thant just a biography. Find a story of a man who find peace and happiness after many years of addiction and wild life. The book is a must for the fan of the band, but it can be read as well if you're not a fan, cause it talk about life, friendship, addiction, hapiness, familly and God with such honesty and a unique point of view that it can touch you inmany way. A very good bio/spiritual book!
