I hate everything about this one, and it's very rare for an Old Man Logan issue. The story is not good but most of all is the new illustration style it had completely denaturalize what make this series what it's. Complete fail by Marvel on this one!!

An average story and very simple illustration all black and white/manga style. Not bad, but not that good, maybe the hardcore fan of Wall-E will find it interesting, but if you're not in this categorie of person I think you can pass on that one.

A cute story for kids about wild animal «invading» the city street at night, but it's really more, I think, an allegory about the importance of keeping a natural part, a place for nature, in the modern city. The story in itself was average, but I give one more start just for the importance and my liking of the message it try to pass on!!

Excellent!! Une lecture très rapide et une fin qui donne tellement envie de lire la suite! J'ai eu un peu peur lorsque j'ai vu que cela était écrit sous forme de dossier/rapport, un peu comme Wold War Z, dans lequel, la quantité de source nous laissait complètement détaché de tout personnage et même d'une bonne partie de l'action. Ce n'est pas le cas ici, le format est bien maîtrisé et on tourne toujours autour d'entretien qui on eu lu avec les trois ou quatre même personnages, ce qui fait qu'on apprend à les connaître et à s'attacher malgré tout. J'ai adoré le monde, les personnages sont un peu simples/stéréotypés, mais rien qui ne gâche le plaisir. Certaines tournures de l'histoire sont un peu tirées par les cheveux et légèrement prévisibles, mais encore une fois, rien pour me déplaire. J'ai bien hâte de voir comment cela évoluera dans le prochain tome!

Je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai lu ce livre, ni à quoi je m'attendais vraiment. Une histoire d'amour. Rien de bien remarquable, assez bien écrit. Les fans du genre pourraient avoir un intérêt. Personnelement bien peu pour moi, mais en même tant je ne crois pas que se soit vraiment la faute du livre!

Good informative book about tragedy. It explain and introduce a dialogue with children about what are tragedy, what is all that sad stuff they saw on TV and try to explain it. Well done, it cover a good variety of tragedy, from natural disaster to terrorism. It's really a book that you may want to look at AND speak with your kid while reading it, if you just read the book, it isn't bad, but it won't be that much understand by them. A good book, that bring a difficult but important matter to younger spirit!

This one war really bad. Way too much dialog for a kid's book. Not enough action and the story just doesn't make any sense. I know it's for kids, but still, the turtle solve the mysteries while basically doing nothing in their aquarium ?!? Not worth your time or money!

I received this book on netgalley, like many books, I don't always mention it because it doesn't change my review in any way, but this time, since I haven't get my hand on the first two volumes, I though that mentionning it would explain why... That being said, this book is so weird. There is satanism, drugs, graphic violence, and all that while presenting cartoon/kid like illustration. This is not a book for children!! Be aware! And it's not very good neither, original, maybe, wierd, for sure, but not that good. Someting that really came and hit me out of nowhere.

Un livre marquant. D'une grande beauté, malgré des thèmes très durs. Un y parle d'abus, d'amour, d'acceptation et de douleur. Une écriture simple, mais percutante, qui m'a grandement rejoint. Le livre aborde un côté plus féminin certes, mais je crois qu'en tant qu'homme, on peut quand même s'y reconnaître, car ses thèmes sont universels. Ils peuvent être vécu différemment, mais ils demeurent commun. Je crois qu'il s'agit véritablement d'une lecture féministe, mais dans ce qu'elle a de plus vraie et de plus juste. De vrais thèmes, de vrais enjeux, de vértiables préoccupations. Certain passage sont très difficile, personnellement la première partie, portant plus sur les abus sexuels, m'a pronfondément marquée. Je travaille avec des enfants au quotidien et cette année plus que les autres, je vois et travaille avec des enfants qui ont subis des abus et à chaque fois que je crois avoir tout vu et entendu ce qu'il y avait de pire, je me rand compte que non la semaine ou le mois qui suit et cette année est particulièrement difficile à ce niveau. Tout cela pour dire que ce livre apporte un regard difficile, mais très juste, sur une réalité horrible beaucoup trop présente dans nos sociétés dites modernes et civilisés!! Une lecture incontournable!
