A kid's book that failed to find balance between ecological message and a good story for kids. The lines are too long, not enough action, didn't captivate me at all. The intention and the message are good, put the execution didn't work. Sorry...
I never read the Red Rising series, I though that this comic book was going to give me the will to go with it, but finally not really, maybe it's was a bad idea and I would have like it better, if I had read the series.... we'll never know! But for this series, nothing bad, just nothing really great neither. Everything just feel average and we go through it to finally said... so... Maybe a fan of the series who have read it all would have a different perspective on it.
Really great!!! Loved every part of it!
Wild Nights: Heart Wisdom from Five Women Poets
Lisa Locascio, Amy Lowell, Claire Whitmore, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Sara Teasdale, Sappho, Emily Dickinson
Not for me! I don't know much about poetry, but I try to appreciate it with what I'm feeling while reading it, I think this is what poetry is about and this one doesn't get to me at all. It's certainly a more feminine poetry so maybe that's the reason, but in the end, I didn't like it...
Meaningless. A story about everything is so great and everybody accept everybody for who they are. I just hated this too good looking world/lie we sell our kids. Yeah magic, dream, and acceptation is good of course, but could we stay at least a minimum truthful.
Is it the fellow up from the x-men prime of last month, seem like it but not sure because they start with prime and now gold... kind of lost in all that! Anyway good story, we return to the basic of the X-Men but with a touch of modern action and storyline. Love it and curious to see how it will evolve!
Cute book for kids, not much story, in fact no story at all, but it compare different animal size. For kids, i think that could be interesting and even impressive.
101 Games to Play Before You Grow Up: Exciting and fun games to play anywhere
Diego Vaisberg, Walter Foster Creative Team
Kind of the ultimate book of simple and basic games that you can play with almost nothing. Most of them are know by almost everybody, but if you missed some, forget others, or just want to give it to a kid (because God they so often look like they don't know how to play by themselves this days) this a book that is really well done!
A really good book that try to dismantle the stereotypes of boys and girls. Nothing to intense here, all is done in a funny way with illustrations that are absolutely astonishing, amazing work from the illustrator. Overall a book that worth looking at!
