Honestly don't even remember why I originally wanted to read this. Did not enjoy the first two issues and decided it could go back to the library. 

Okay, no, I hate this. Why did I think I could just read it without wanting to rip my hair out?

Just was not into this at all. Possibly bc it's so hot out and I couldn't focus. 

Something about this just isn't hitting for me. 

Will probably come back to this at some point, but am just really not in the mood for it right now. 

I guess third person present doesn't really work for me. I thought maybe it was just the prologue, but it continued into the first chapter and I just found it incredibly distracting. 

I got annoyed with the main character's voice almost immediately. Side-eyed the dreamcatcher wind chimes. And then finally quit at "even a magical haven like Thistle Grove got decent reception and Wi-Fi most of the time"...the fuck does she think WiFi is? That it just springs from the aether? 

Too annoyed already to keep going. 

I really wanted to like this, but struggled with the switch from first person present to third person past every chapter, and didn't find the .mystery all that engaging.  

I can see myself loving this at another point in time, but for now I am just not in the mood. 

I did not enjoy the style this was written in, and knew I wasn't going to enjoy myself.
