Enticing the Earl is the third book in The Arrogant Earls series by Kathleen Ayers and I really enjoyed this one.
Oleanna Honeywell is essentially hiding out in the Earl of Montieth's household but she is struggling in her role as a housekeeper. First because she has no idea what she is doing but secondly, the Earl's butler does not like her. Regardless, she has a bit of security due to the fact that she has won over the Earl's daughter and she spends most of her time with her. It also helps that the Earl is intrigued by her and regardless of what occurs, hasn't yet fired her.
As the story progresses, Oleanna and Montieth's relationship progresses. Montieth struggles with his feelings as he doesn't want to be like his father and with Oleanna technically being an employee, he isn't sure what to do. When we find out just what Oleanna is hiding from and the unthinkable happens, Montieth steps up and does what he needs to in order to save the woman he loves.
I really enjoyed this book and if you haven't read the other books in the series, I recommend you pick them up. They are quick reads with engaging characters and stories...just like this one.
