I wouldn't say this book is just about language but everything around it. I still enjoy the book but it gives more like " sight that you are in a cult, or how to recognize the sight of a cult " 

Autor uses multiple examples of how a cult can be anything,(I think it is better if that use more example who is not around fitness and sport) and how even a stronger cult cannot build with special language and a specific planned program.

It was OK.  What I like about the book is how she handles the topic of being part of LGBTQ+ and at the same time religion. As somebody who goes to a Christian school like the main character, I can relate many things. 

But what I had a problem with was the ending. I feel like the end was written at the last minute few hours before the deadline. I get the point this is a young adult but the main character struggle the entire book with her sexuality and fear she will be kicked out 
So in the end when she comes out to the mom who was openly homophobic out of nowhere mom is absolutely ok with the fact that both of her kids are not straight. 

I can imagine this book will be great for kids or for somebody who is new to the  LGBTQ theme, but not for somebody who searches for detailed history. This book is more USA LGBTQ 101. 

The only problem with this book is that the author combines,, human stuff,, like using smartphone stuff like this. I know this I retelling but what I expect is they are goods so why do they act like humans? What I expect was a war between two goods  this was just a fight between one guy who has a big ego vs. a guy who is seen thought but in reality has a hard life 
When comes to spicy scenes are not bad and I know this was the main reason why people read this. Is just some of the stuff around that is annoying. 

Not good, not terrible. I expected some guide and I got a friendly hug when you feel low. It wasn't badly written it just give the vibes that I can go to my mom and she will give me the same advice. 

Listening to this audiobook was something else. 
As somebody who in history cut myself and try multiple times to take my life and a huge reason for that was my sexuality and the people around me.  This book takes me back in my history a look in a different way.

 Is a fast audiobook but I can imagine some people will give this whole new perspective about mental health and it is not easy how it looks. I can relate to the author so much in this book. The not existing hope that you will never live a normal live or rather be in a shitty relationship, but hey unless you got a partner better than being single... 

It gets better and I know you can see it get better, but for many of us who grow up in not-so-welcome places, books like this give you hope. 

Not going to lie, reading about a pandemic that you literary,, survived,, (or however, you want to call it ) was weird for me. For somebody whose English isn't the first language, it wasn't the most effortless reading, especially the first half.

What I like about the book is that the author talk in a book on different topics and points of view. It was good to know what happen from a more professional view and understean it.
