PAGEBOY was my most highly anticipated book of the year, and it did not disappoint. Elliot Page's candid reflections on his trans identity and family dynamics were truly captivating.
While some reviewers already mentioned a lack of cohesiveness in the book's structure, I appreciated the non-linear narrative style. That being said, I think grouping similar stories would have made the book even stronger.
Despite this, I still consider PAGEBOY to be an important work that promotes visibility and understanding of the trans community. Overall, it was a fantastic read and one that I highly recommend.

This is a heartwarming and adorable story. I rarely come across stories featuring nonbinary and trans characters, so I'm excited to discover more books by this author.

Canaries Among Us: A Mother's Quest to Honor her Child's Individuality in a Culture Determined to Negate It
DID NOT FINISH: 11%
It wasn't the right book for me, I can imagine that somebody who is a parent will enjoy it but for somebody who is not even planning to be a parent one day. Is just gives back memories from high school that I don't need to be reminded of.
