I love stories that incorporate folklore, and that was probably my favorite aspect of this book, but it wasn't enough to really make me love it. I thought the time jumps and POV changes were used well, but motivations seemed a tad shallow at times, and the ending felt a bit rushed and unfinished. 

You know that B99 meme? “I’ve only had Arlo for a day and a half but if anything happened to them…”, that one? That’s me with Nimona and Ballistar.
