It was really quick and simple, so at least there's that.
I can't say it was bad, exactly; it was just... patronizing?* I felt like YOLO Juliet was written by some 40-year-old guy who thinks all millennials write the same way and text each other all the time, even when they're together inside the same room. That aside, the story was okay. I mean, it's the exact same story, but with texting and emojis. I don't know what else to say? There were some inconsistencies here, some details that I believe would have happened differently if actual texting existed during R&J's love story. I don't think I'll be reading the other books in this series.

Lugar de Mulher é Onde Ela Quiser
Mari Messias, Clara Averbuck, Ana Paula Barbi, Ana Paula Barbi

Amazing story, very well written. I've never seen the film, but I understand it's different, more action-centered. Well, I like this version here. It's a novelette that reads a lot like a short story, with a great concept and a great deal of control where the author's concerned, since you just know the story feels and goes exactly like/where he wants it to.
Well, color me speechless.
Dear Mr. Pierce Brown, what is this? What even is this book, this ending? I knew part of what was going to happen, yes, I knew that because I ended up spoiling myself during the AMA on reddit, but I could never have imagined it would be like this. Whoa. WHOA. I see now why Sevro is such a fan-favorite—I didn't in Red Rising—, I see how BIG this trilogy is, I see why people were so eager for Morning Star. Dear Mr. Pierce Brown, you got me.
Now, I do have issues with some aspects of the story. I won't talk about them here, but I do. Ok? Ok. Having said that, I have, against my better judgement, to put all of them aside and give Golden Son a full five stars. This book was a bloodydamn fun ride.
