This was a fun, engrossing read. Not 5 stars worth of it for me personally, but I can definitely see why it would be for others!

Fun, quick, spicy read. Fun to have a romance about people in their 40s. The Dark Pasts/Secrets of the leads are intriguing, but I did find them getting resolved a bit too quickly/easily, especially considering the *decades* the characters had been struggling with them at that point. But perhaps that's to be expected in a lighthearted novel such as this one 😊

I am on a mission to find a Discworld novel I love. I always like the wit of them, but am usually not that taken by the characters and plot. But this one I loved so much!

I was sceptical going into this because generally experimental novels are not for me. I did like this one a lot though.
I loved
- The 'Zampano' parts. Not only the plot of the Navidson Record, which was extremely intriguing and well-executed, but also Zampano's description of the shots etc.
- Johhny's mother's letters
- The play with the shape of the text in the most tense parts of the Navidson Record.
I liked less:
- Johnny's ramblings. They just couldn't hold my attention the way most of the rest of it could....

Magical book. Piranesi is one of the kindest, lovely characters I've ever come across. I'll surely be thinking about it for a long time...

I was absolutely blown away by these novels. Truly epic in all senses. The climax of the final book is so well-earnt, everything builds up to it beautifully.
The only downside is that I now need to read the other trilogies of the Elderling worlds and that is a big commitment 😆.

I really loved this book. It's very similar to *House by the Cerulean Sea* by TJ Klune in both vibe and plot, so if you like one, you'll probably like the other. I loved this one more, but that's probably a matter of taste.
I did feel that the final chapter was a bit too crowded, too many things all at once to keep it believable for me. Hence the non 5 stars. But it was such a lovely read!
