Ik vond dit misschien wat pretentieus, maar tegelijk ook mooi geschreven en soms zelfs ontroerend.
Ik kende Rombouts niet voor ik dit begon te lezen en dit stond mijn appreciatie van Boek I niet in de weg.

Oh boy this was not for me.
This was fine. I took a long time for Beth and Jen to really become distinct characters. But once I warmed up to them there were some lovely bits. Overall not all that memorable.
I was slightly worried about the kinda problematic premise getting swept under the rug, but think it was handeled well, it was definitely presented as wrong within the text too.
