What a great way to end book 1! I can't wait to read book 2.
I loved the way Blood & Secrets threw me right into a mystery, leaving me to solve and understand what is going on alongside Everly, the FMC. It carried a great mix of romance and adventure, and was a relatively quick read.
I feel like the only thing i didn't like too much is the fact that the world building wasn't as solid as I would've liked it to be, but it was still good.
The romance between Everly and each of the MMC's was really well-written and kept me on my toes throughout the whole book, wondering who she'd choose in the end, though to be honest I was rooting for her to just get with them all.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for this book, all opinions are my own.

Oh. My. God. No words can express how well this book lived up to my expectations. I read it in a day.
It’s sometimes difficult to find a book that portrays very vast and difference personalities in characters- especially when there are multiple that have to be focused on. This book displayed all their differences and characteristics beautifully.
I also loved the fast pace of the book- it was perfect. The way all the chapters were written meant i didn’t have a single moment during reading where i felt like it was dragging on just for the sake of it.
The Never List has left me lost. How on earth am i supposed to read a why choose when this high of a standard has now been set? And that cliffhanger? It absolutely destroyed me. I can’t wait for book 2.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me ARC read The Never List- it’s definitely one of the most unforgettable books i’ve read. Also, thank you to the author for writing such a masterpiece.

In an unexpected attack on the king, Prince Aeveus is suddenly found wanted for the murder of his father. While on the run in a quite convincing disguise, he encounters Karessa, who is searching for him with the hopes of earning the bounty on his head. Throughout the book, they encounter numerous dilemmas as they search for the true murdered of the king.
I really enjoyed this book. I feel like it had just the right amount of romance and action, and a fitting pace was kept throughout the book. The battle scenes were also very well- written, leaving me eager to know how their outcomes.
The only thing i feel put my rating down slightly was the fact that i feel the characters didn't have enough depth to them. I think if they had more of a background to them, one they shared between themselves throughout the book, it would make them feel more alive.
Overall, however, I really enjoyed Ashes and Rubble, and i can't wait for book 2 .

This was such an amazing read! I can't believe it's a debut novel.
The rose in the shadows follows Thea, who wakes up with no memory if her past. As she slowly discovers herself and what she can do, she is thrown into a world of royalty where every wrong move has her under the threat of the wrath of the Dragon.
I loved this book so much. At first, I wasn't honestly too sure about it and whether I would enjoy it all that much, however, as the book continued, I found myself more and more engrossed in the plot. I read most of the book in one sitting- I just couldn't put it down!

What an amazing end to a book! I can't wait to read the next one.
The Malice of Moons and Mages is a story that follows Audra, a Western Mage, and thief, and Lua, Oji of the Moon tribe, who end up anchored to each other for unexplainable reasons. As they race to the Silence monastery in hopes of breaking this bond and going their separate ways, they start to question their goals and what they really want.
This is by far one of the best books i've ever read on Netgalley. It had me from the very beginning, wanting to read it at every given free moment. Every detail in the book is well thought through and the writing itself is very strong and powerful (some parts did tug some heart strings for me).
The only reason I didn't rate this a 5 star is that i'm personally just not really a fan of multiple POV'S when it comes to reading lots in the POV of a character that isn't the FMC or MMC, however i found nothing else that i disliked about reading this.

I feel like the book started off really strong. I adore the main character, Cahra, who is a blacksmith, a trait i have not yet seen in a main character. She had some really solid character development throughout the book, however i feel like at some point past the middle she gets a bit confusing. Her feelings do a very sudden 180, which i feel disrupted the flow of the book completely.
I also really enjoyed the fact that the characters weren't stuck in one place the whole book. The constant shift in environment was a great way to keep me engaged and reading the book, as new environments created new ways for the characters to learn and develop.
I loved the ending, though it did feel like it was written in quite a rush and was slightly confusing at times.
Overall, i give this book 3 stars, I like the plot and really enjoyed the first half of the book, however the sudden change in quality after the halfway point was quite disappointing.

This is my first ever Netgalley read, and boy am I glad this is the first book I requested. Pirates (on sea) have always been a topic I really enjoyed, but sky pirates might just top it now.
I love the way the book is written. The writing style makes it feel like I am not only reading the book, but I'm actually there with the Trench crew as my own person, especially as the point of view isn't solely focused on Grey, the crew's captain, but on everyone quite equally. I also absolutely love the humorous language.
This book is about a sky pirate crew who are tasked by an immortal to help to find the seven stones of Indigo for a hefty sum of 1 million credits per stone. As the crew sets out to find the first stone, they are faced with a multitude of tasks and problems. with plot twists at every corner.
I do feel like at some points the book felt a bit dragged out, but not enough to make the book any less enjoyable.
