Another great read from SJM. This one was a bit of a slow start but when it gets to the action it is so good! I really enjoyed the different story lines we got to see in this. You definitely feel so much emotion for even the minor characters, and let's face it you never know who will become important later on. Left with another cliffhanger ending I cannot wait to continue the series!

If at all possible I think this is better than Scythe. What an amazing adventure for our main characters. The ending left me in tears and I will be not so patiently waiting for The Toll! I cannot say enough about how amazing the world-building and characters are in this series. I recommend this to every fantasy, sci-fi, and/or dystopian fan out there!!

Amazing. I have to collect my thoughts before I write a review.

I love the idea of a pirate book, it’s something so much less common than dragons, faeries, vampires, etc.
I love Alosa because she is so sassy and confident. I like how they waited a while to introduce just what she is capable of, I didn’t want to put it down. I think it’s a fairly quick read and worth filling some extra time if you don’t know what to read next. If you’re a fan of stuff like Pirates of the Caribbean give this one a try!

I. Love. Anna.

I listened to the audio version and I am so glad I did. Anna's story shows how celebs are just normal people too. I loved hearing what she was thinking when she was on set of some of her various projects. I just want to hear more about Pitch Perfect!
