Shari Lapena is definitely a favourite author for me. I've given all 3 of her books 5 stars.

Throughout the book I had two different suspects. But then a few chapters later everything changed. In the end I had no suspect. I couldn't think of a reason why any of the guests would murder mulitple people.
The twist at the end shocked me. That character was one I overlooked the most. They seemed to blend into the background the most.

I usually have problems with keeping up with so many POVs but with this is was easy. The writing flowed very easily and each character had a characteristic that helped me not muddle them up.

I loved this. I devoured it within a few hours. I instantly got lost in this world.
I love Cass and Jacob's friendship. I'd happily read more from them adventuring through different locations.

I struggled to give this a star rating.
I easily got through it. I felt the writing flowed pretty easily. But it wasn't as suspenseful, dark or creepy as I had hoped and expected. It felt more like a light thriller, which I don't think it was supposed to be.
I was surprised at the reveal. I had suspected someone else. But I was disappointed at how quickly it seemed to wrap up.
