OH BRAVA! THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL!

I was definitely not a fan of the first half of this book. I was insanely bored, and confused as to why everything I'd heard about this book was about Cassie and nothing of Zombie. I'm still a little annoyed, but it definitely all grew on me. 4/5 stars

Marissa Meyer was amazing as usual. I love seeing into Levana's world and what she went through. In two words: she CRAY.
I'm not usually a novella person, but this one gave us a lot of info I think we'll want to know while reading Winter. 5/5 stars!

had all the problems I did with the first book and more. Nothing the characters did ever made sense. I want to use the phrase "out of character" but I'm not even sure if they have their own personalities.
it was still mildly entertaining, but definitely not my thing.

4.5 stars!

The Walled City is a standalone, YA, survival novel taking place in the point-of-view of three teens living very different lives in the Walled City. The city itself is based on a real walled city in Hong Kong; Kowloon Walled City (which you can read more about in the author's note at the end of the book and see pictures of this "very real, unreal city."

As someone who love survival, adventure stories, I loved this one! It was very unique as well and from perspectives I'm not used to reading from. I can't say too much about this without spoiling you, the official synopsis is really all you need to know going in. But i loved the relationships formed and the strength and character development of the different characters. The emotions feel real and not exaggerated or forced.

I really liked this one and hope to read more of this author's work in the future!

Upon using my limited knowledge of math, I determined my average rating of the ten novellas together is 4.4 stars. I've rounded up to five because MAGNUS BANE.

AHH I loved this so much! It was basically like reading a ton of one-shot fanfics and fill my heart with love. If you love the shadow-hunter novels and have yet to read this WHAT ARE YOU DOING? It may not seem very necessary (I made this mistake as well) but you will wonder why you thought that after reading this. Seriously.

Entertaining and interesting, but the writing fell a bit flat for me and the "mysteries" we're too easy to guess. 2.5 stars. Full review on my blog!

*4.5
I REALLY like it, but not quite enough to give it a full five stars, I feel like. Plus, I feel like with all the political alien stuff going on, the rest feels a little too easy, maybe? (that's not entirely true, CAUSE WHAT'S GOING ON WITH CARLY)
So yeah, I really loved it, but not quite enough for 5 stars.
I definitely recommend this series if you love lots of action; cause it's packed with it! (plus some romance... HOLLA!)
