I picked up this book on a whim, and gosh am I glad I did!
This book was beautifully written with short snippet-y chapters that keep you fully engaged in the story. I was pulled in from the get-go, and I raced my way through this book.
I absolutely love the original idea of having a paranoid schizophrenic trying to solve a mystery because how can she know what's real, while at the same time trying to hide her mental illness?
Such a great book and even though it JUST came out, I'm already looking forward to Francesca Zappia's follow up to this debut!
Way to come out with a bang, Francesca!

This book could have easily been 150 pages shorter... maybe even 200 pages shorter.
I didn't enjoy this nearly as much on re-read. Instalove much?
This book absolutely wrecked me. It was so reminiscent of behaviors I saw in previous boyfriends and perfectly captured the feelings of helplessness, confusion, and being lost that I felt as an early-twentysomething.
Heather does a great job of highlighting just how damaging emotional abuse and manipulation can be in a relationship even if there is no physical abuse.
Highly recommend if you can handle scenes of intense emotional abuse and manipulation.

Average. The mystery itself was meh and sexuality was a semi-spoiler, which I do not enjoy. Overall I was left underwhelmed with this book.
I really enjoyed this upon re-read as well. Just as enjoyable the second time around.
