I thought the story of this book was good but was very annoyed at the start. Koa's chapters mostly sounded like an annoying little boy right away which put me off. However Mira's chapters gave me just enough to keep going.

The overall story was pretty interesting and it was really cool to read a story that was Mayan inspired. Although this might not have been up my alley for what I usually read since it did have a lot more explicit scenes than I prefer reading, however I would and have already recommended it to some people I know like those kinds of books

This book was so extremely good! I think it is my favorite book of 2024 so far! The writing was great and the twists were amazing!

This was a really good prequel short book for the Parisian Ghosts series which I will be continuing on with! The way the author writes sucked me right into the story along with the adventure! And the friendship between Alix and Gaby is so fun!
