The best cliffhanger in the history of cliffhangers.
I think I say this at every book in this series but I absolutely adore these characters and the world and the writing. And my OTP is everything in this book.
Annabeth is amazing. And we get to see her be clever, kick ass and caring in this book. It's perfect.

No, but honestly, tt's sweet and lovely and you can't help but love the characters, especially Bitty who is just a pearl.

3.5 - 4 / 5 Why don’t we have more books like this one, where instead of reading the hero’s perspective, we read from the POV of the person who loves the hero? It makes the way of telling this story really quite beautiful. Epic, poetic, we could feel the passionate love that they felt, as well as the pain.

I’m happy I didn’t brush up on my knowledge of how this story went. I’d learnt about the Trojan War but had forgotten most of how it played out and I’m happy that I did. It kept the story interesting and entertaining. I knew that this was a great Greek Tragedy all along, yet my emotions were still all over the place by the end of it.

I must say, most of the book just felt like a series of events just put together. And I get that that’s exactly what it is because it’s staying true to the original story, which takes place over years and years, and I respect that, but sometimes in books it can make the pacing a little off, which I did feel at times.

J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé cette trilogie ! Et qu'est-ce que j'ai adoré ces personnages.

J'ai été un peu choquée au début, ne sachant pas à quoi m'attendre.
Il avait pas mal de contenu "adulte" durant la trilogie entière mais ce que j'ai surtout adoré c'est la relation entre les deux personnages principaux. Je n'ai pas réussi à penser à autre chose qu'eux depuis avoir commencé le premier bouquin. Le "slow-burn" me fond vraiment le coeur et là, ça ne m'a pas déçu !

I love this story.
The idea is great. The world is fascinating. The superpowers are getting more and more interesting. The characters are so damn lovable.
I am so thankful for the amount of positive racial, gender, sexual and superpower diversity there is in one series without any of it feeling forced at all. It is incredible.

Now... it's a shame the quality of the structure and writing doesn't quite live up to the brilliance of the story. (I said this for the first book and my opinion on this is confirmed: this story, told in another format, would be AMAZING.)
For one, I'm not a fan of the third person present tense narrative... it just doesn't work for me.
But mostly, the pacing is all over the place. This is especially true for the first third of the book which takes place at the same time as book 1.
But also, the final 'big moment', although interesting, wasn't built up to enough, and left me feeling a little underwhelmed?

I do still continue to love and recommend this series to everyone! It warms my heart to the fullest and I cannot wait for book 3.

Cette BD a été créée dans le but de faire la lumière sur le harcèlement de rue.
De nombreux témoignages sont racontés sous forme de petites histoires toutes liées : le point de vue des femmes quand elles se font toucher, siffler, suivre dans la rue et les espaces publics.
Harcelées.

En plus d'apprécier un livre qui met en avant un sujet si important et souvent mis de côté comme nom important voir non-existant, j'ai trouvé l'art des images vraiment beau. Les couleurs étaient magnifiques.

J'aurais bien aimé avoir un préface ou une note d'auteur pour expliquer l'histoire de ce livre mais aussi expliquer un petit peu plus ce qu'est le harcèlement de rue et pourquoi on a besoin de ce livre aujourd'hui.
En allant rechercher la BD et les auteures sur internet j'ai trouvé des interviews très intéressants justement sur comment on en est venu à ce livre, et je trouve ça dommage que rien de tout ça n'est expliqué dans le livre lui-même.
Surtout puisqu'il est à destination des personnes qui doivent encore prendre conscience du fait que le harcèlement de rue existe (entre autres, on est d'accord qu'il est à destination de tout le monde, notamment des femmes qui se font harceler et qui ont besoin de soutien en se disant qu'elles ne sont pas seules) et qu'il il n'est absolument pas acceptable. Avoir une note sur des ressources en ligne sur le sujet par exemple aurait pu être un petit supplément qui aurait rendu ce livre vraiment très bon.
