im obsessed w his writing style, the characters were so interesting (pepper ♥️♥️), the omniscient perspective, the plot itself, chefs kiss 

it's like if harry potter was written by a teenager who'd only heard of hp through oral retellings of hp fanfic like a game of telephone 

loved this, I related to Selin so much 

haven't read this since i was a teenager but it's still so good. writing is def obviously geared towards a younger audience but it's still entertaining for adults 

very interesting. this was the first time I'd heard of thought-terminating cliches and that was super interesting to learn about and like become aware of around me. 

the first half of the book took me weeks to get through and then i finished the second half in one day 
interesting character study, excellent writing

would've dnf'd this if i hadn't been reading it for a book club tbh just really did not care for molly throughout the book 

too cheesy, felt like the whole book was attempting to be quotable 
lots of unnecessary plotlines and too much black and white like good and evil 

cried a few times ngl very beautifully written
