Gorgeous translations. The who's who at the end was helpful (and funny) and the notes and appendix were very informative. I liked the inclusion of Sappho references/testimony at the end and the fact that they were distinct from her work. 

This one's gonna stick with me for a while I can feel it in my bones. 

I want to eat this book I want it inside of me forever.

Too much breeding talk. Didn't start liking this book until the second half tbh. 

Never would've guessed the ending, had me hooked so quick. The audiobook itself was really good, cried a few times. I love Ravi and

their chemistry was so good but why that age gap WHYYYYY ugh I'll never forgive the author for that. -.75 for that tbh.

Can honestly say I did not see that end coming. Loved the themes of mythology as usual. I love Fred I want more of him!!! Loved the ties into The Silent Patient. Poor Mariana she deserves a break 🥲.

I was not prepared at all. Such good writing. 

I could've kept reading this book forever. Wish it never ended. I love the openness of the ending. I'm gonna miss these characters. The book felt like a cross between Kafka's Trial and Grand Budapest Hotel. 

I've had exact conversations with my therapist like the rants Theo goes on regarding life and the meaningless of it. Related to him way too much. 

Don't think I'll ever be able to forget Boris revealing the truth about the painting. I felt like Theo in that moment. God.

I can't wait to reread this.
