Cash by Jessica Peterson has quickly become my favorite cowboy romance—what an absolute gem! From the very first page, I was hooked. Cash, the main character, is everything you could want in a cowboy hero. He’s sexy, charming, and just downright irresistible. Honestly, I couldn’t get enough of him! 🫠🥵🤠

One of the things I loved most about this book was the enemies-to-lovers dynamic between the two main characters. Watching them go from rivals to something much deeper was so satisfying, and the tension between them was electric. The way their relationship developed felt natural and intense, keeping me glued to the story.

And let’s talk about the spice—absolutely amazing! The chemistry between the characters was off the charts, and those steamy moments were everything. 

On top of that, the found family trope was perfectly executed, adding an extra layer of warmth and heart to the story. The sense of community and belonging among the characters made the story even more special.

I can’t wait to dive into the next books in the series and see what else Jessica Peterson has in store. If you’re a fan of cowboy romances with heat, heart, and a touch of drama, this one’s a must-read!

The Hunted Heir by Holly Renee may be a shorter book, but it certainly packs a punch with its twists and turns. This second installment lives up to its title, delivering a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The pacing is tight, with each chapter bringing new surprises and developments that make it impossible to put down.

I’m completely obsessed with the characters, especially Verena and Dacre. Their chemistry and the way their relationship evolves are some of the highlights of the book. (Also… The Spice!)

They’re both complex and compelling, and I found myself eagerly turning the pages just to see what would happen next with them.

Even though it’s a shorter read, the story is rich with intrigue and emotion. The ending left me wanting more, and I can’t wait to dive into the next book to see where the journey takes Verena and Dacre. Holly Renee has done an excellent job of creating a world and characters that are both captivating and unforgettable.

I wasn't expecting something so fun and light, but I liked it all the more. The writing style won me over immediately, and I loved the characters' internal dialogue about what they were doing and feeling. We're inside the heads of characters who have a lot of humor, second-degree, and objectivity about what's happening to them and the choices they make, which makes it easy to identify with them.

Of course, the dark and passionate side is present, and Aly sees every one of her fantasies come true thanks to a particularly attentive Josh (someone might use the word 'obsessed').

The two characters are a perfect match, and I loved the evolution of their relationship from the moment of their second (masked) encounter to the very end.

The audiobook was so so good! It's a duet and the two narrators really bring out the 'fun' in this story!

Great epilogue, by the way. This was my 1st book by this author, but I'll be reading her other works with pleasure!
