The way Dom loved Maddie so deeply, even when he thought he didn’t deserve her, had me clutching my chest. His every action screamed devotion, and watching him slowly tear down the walls he’d built around his heart was nothing short of breathtaking.


And the angst? Pure perfection. The years of unspoken feelings, regret, and hurt between them built a tension so palpable I felt it in every page. Maddie’s pain and lingering love for Dom were raw and honest, and Dom’s self-loathing and quiet yearning made me ache for him. You could feel how much he wanted her, how much he needed her, but he held himself back, convinced he’d only cause her more pain.

Ridley and Colt’s story has everything I love in this genre, which, honestly, I don’t read nearly enough: it was captivating, intense, and brimming with emotion.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked by the intensity of what happens to Ridley and her sister, followed by her criminal investigation and how her quest for justice collides with Colt’s sense of duty.

Their relationship, initially tense, slowly transforms into something deep and irresistible, and I loved every step of that journey. The spice scenes were incredibly well-written.

Ridley is a fascinating heroine: her courage and determination to uncover the truth, despite the dangers, completely won me over. As for Colt, he’s the perfect balance of protector and vulnerable. As the sheriff of this small town, he carries the weight of his past while trying to shield Ridley from the growing threats tied to her investigation.

The forced proximity trope is masterfully executed, giving their romance a slow-burn tension that kept me on edge until the very end.

I wouldn’t say no to a future book about Emerson—she’s such a great character, and I’d love to stay in Shady Cove a little longer.

 I was promised friends to lovers, pining, longing, and angst so deep I was going to cry, and BOY did Jessica deliver!

This was absolute perfection. Wyatt and Sally’s chemistry was off the charts, and the balance between heartache, swoon-worthy moments, and just enough steam made this an unforgettable read. The story handled grief in such a raw, poignant, and beautiful way—it added so much depth and made the love story even more rewarding.

Wyatt is the perfect book boyfriend: charming, protective, a little bit cocky but with a heart of gold. His family was also incredible, bringing warmth and humor in every scene. Honestly, I cannot wait for Sawyer’s book now—I need more of this world ASAP. Oh, and the smut? Let’s just say it was a little kinky, and I couldn’t get enough of it. Absolute 🔥🔥🔥.
