This book had a lot of potential, to be completely honest, I thought it was going to be way better than it actually was. I got pretty bored of it halfway and stopped reading it for about a month but the second half of it made up for it because the second half was amazing. I really enjoyed it and the idea of the story was very good.
okay werk. this is the first of 3 crossover novellas between percy jackson and the kane chronicles and is set after hoo. this one is from carter's pov and features him and percy battling a giant crocodile. this was low stakes and fun and is exactly what I wanted from chalice of the god, nothing more, nothing less. it sets up the rest of the (short) trilogy well and I luv how stupid these two are together. I thought that this was funny and definitely worth the read if you forced yourself to slog through the kane chronicles trilogy ðŸ¤ðŸ¤ 3.5 stars
