THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT THE GIRLS WANT!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE SAPPHIC LOVE STORY I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR!!!!!!!! I had issues with this but idc This Is A Five Stari loved this book anyway. i thought it was so so stupid that like 3+ times charlotte just pulled out her phone and had an incriminating photo/video to sabotage irene or scottie, like once whatever but three times 😭😭😭 r u joking 😭😭😭😭😭😭 I also don't like it in books/movies/tv shows when everyone in the group starts dating someone else in the group and it ends up just being a group of couples. ESPECIALLY when it's in high school, like i feel like the guy friends interchangeable and were only there to be love interests for danielle and honeybell. speaking of honeybell, i LOVED HER omg best side character fr!!! best girl!!!! danielle slayed too. All of the families were sweet and believable apart from the younger sister, can't remember her name but personally i am so so so against the sweet perfect younger sibling who makes cute observations and does nothing wrong? Like that's how you can tell that the author does not have siblings cause why not a single mention of her being annoying sometimes or stuff like that? oh well. Also Irene slayed. I loved how seriously she took cheer and how she was fighting for people to recognise it as a real sport!!! Ugh!!!! Irene!!! Ily!!!!!! Also Scottie getting over her relationship while falling in love with someone new was so so real and upsetting but ah it was perfect!! Really natural progression of her getting over someone!! I thought her and Irene's relationship was so sweet and this did enemies to lover right!! They actually didn't like each other!! They didn't respect each other!! Then!!! Slowly!!!! After being forced together they got to know each other better and slowly started to respect each other more BEFORE they fell in love. Ugh. Also loved all the classic high school rom com mentions, NOTHING I love more than a rom com that simultaneous is all the stereotypes while managing to subvert all the stereotypes at the same time, AHHHHHH I was in a bit of a reading slump but we're back baby!!!! reading era has returned!!! 4.75 stars!!!

okay!!!!!!! tbh I didn't really enjoy the process of reading this, in fact I felt that it was quite boring but despite that I thought it was good. I am just in aw that mary shelley was younger than me when she wrote this😳😳 what😳😳 this is truly remarkable especially for the fact that it basically originated science fiction and I think that it's extremely fitting! while it's light on the science part,it really deconstructs humanity very well!! this is marked as a horror novel, I didn't find it that scary but standards were lower back then ig lol but honestly I found this heartbreakingly sad. it's really lovely to see human interaction from the perspective of someone that ig is like "non-human". it really shows how people don't become terrible, they just react to their environment and i feel like I don't see people talk about how upsetting this is😭😭😭 once again though, while I was impressed, (I can see why it is so widely studied!!!) I did not really enjoy the process of reading this, will not be rereading ever I don't think but glad I did read it.

okay😭😭😭 this is your reminder to read the trigger warnings before you start reading a book😭😭 I thought this was gonna be cute uwu gay girl crush vibes but girl😭😭😭 this was barely about being gay and was mostly toxic men and creepy teacher😭😭 what😭😭😭 I think if I knew what is as getting into I would have enjoyed it more but tbh I don't think this really delved into any of the topics it brought up with the depth and nuance that they deserve, although the art was cute. 2.5 stars

okay guys😭😭😭😭😭 I am so so sorry guys😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 really I'm so so sorry I really am😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 this was not for me😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I am so sorry😭😭😭😭😭 I think that I can have respect for a text and understand how oustanding it was especially for it's time and understand why people love it so much but at the same time not personally enjoy it. tbh, I just didn't really care about this at all but I can understand why this book means so much to so many people🫢🫢🫢 once again I'm very sorry
