I was not expecting this book to have my absolute favourite trope/plot device, it made me so giddy! This was a perfect book for me. It made me laugh and cry in equal parts, the plot had me on the edge of my seat. All the science and math made no sense to me of course but it was explained in a way that didn’t feel confusing. I really loved this book and I can’t wait to read more from this author
I liked the setting and world building a lot, and the themes were really interesting. But I wasn’t huge on the characters or plot. It was a good book but not one that will stick with me
My favourite time of year is always when a new Wayward Children book comes out
Nami really reminded me of Anoor from The Final Strife in all the worst ways possible, I think I might have enjoyed this more if she hadn't been in it. I found her to be frustrating and took away from the story for me. The setting was cool and the ideas were there, but overall this just didn't hit the way I wanted it to and I found I was struggling to get through it
I liked the very beginning and the very end, but everything in the middle just wasn’t hitting for me
