I absolutely loved this! It was a really cute, easy read and I really liked all of the characters. Although to be honest, I can’t decide if I liked the book better or the movie. I felt the movie was more real in the sense of how the characters act (what 17 year old says “freaking” and “what the heck” that often?) but the book was more real in terms of plot (as cute as the Ferris wheel scene was, it’s probably not the way most kids are going to get together. The way it happened in the book was a lot more realistic). Either way, both book and movie are great and I highly recommend both! Support more gay narratives!!

Also, I would like to take a moment to appreciate all the fantastic one-liners in this book. Some of my favourites include “le fuck,” “‘you kind of type how you talk’ ‘no freaking way!’”

And my ultimate favourite “I’m just so sick of straight people who can’t get their shit together” relatable content right there

I got the read this for a class I'm taking on Literary Non-fiction, so shoutout to my prof for featuring a queer author/novel in a university setting, since doing so is so rare that this is literally the first time I've had a queer book be part of my curriculum before *slightly sarcastic round of applause*

I really loved this book! Bechdel is so meticulous in every aspect of this book and it really shows. The dialogue, writing, and comics all work so well together and I was incredible to be able to study all the meaning behind everything for class. This was the first thing of Bechdel's that I've read and I can't wait to read more!

Never before have I read series that got 5 stars for each book. Never before have I read a series where I loved each book equally. It was perfect in every way. Every character, every plot twist, everything. I loved this series so much! I don't know what to do with myself now that I've finished it

I haven't loved a book this much in years. I spent literally the entire day today reading this, something I haven't done in probably over five years. I don't know what it is about The Raven Boys, but I fell in love with it from the first page. Every character is so lovable that it's impossible to choose a favourite (I think Ronan may have a slight lead for first place though). There's nothing I disliked about this book and I can't wait to read the next one ahhh (also something I never do but I'm making an exception for: reading the sequel immediately after the first one without a break. It's that good that I don't want to wait)
