I liked the book thematically, despite the warnings was unprepared by just how gross the descriptions were.

its hard to review classics :/ but my main feeling on this is that it was a fun read until about the halfway point, then I looked and saw that there was still half a book to go and wondered what else there was to do, the answer was not much, just spread over a very long, long stretch of the book.
