I really enjoyed the twist at the very end, I thought that was clever and satisfying. Again, don't go in  expecting phenomenal prose, but a quick and easy read. 

I read this in 2 sittings, very fast paced and easy to read. Although the prose was quite simplistic and nothing to write home about I did genuinely get sucked into the story and the characters.

This was a beautiful read. The writing is poetic and songlike but still holds the immaturity of the main character. I really felt for Natalie in her struggles with this new and unusual relationship. Her struggles for individuality and her constant need for validation were heartbreaking and relatable all at the same time.  This is a pretty quick read, I'd recommend if you enjoyed books like My Dark Vanessa. 

Again, I really enjoy Jude as a FMC and I really like the political intrigue that propels this story forward. Lots of twists that I didn't see coming, the world is wonderfully fleshed out, and I can't wait to finish the series and see where our hero ends up.

I loved every second of this book! The characters and their chemistry, the creativity of the heist and all the twists and turns the story takes, the writing. I fell in love with Bardugo's Grishaverse when I first read the Shadow and Bone trilogy back in high school, she doesn't disappoint with this book. I am ecstatic to continue with the next in the duology. 

 I didn't expect to get emotional with this collection, but damn the final story in this collection really got to me.

I would say of the King short story collections I've read so far, this is definitely my favourite. Honestly, there aren't any duds in this collection, none of the stories drag on and they all flow beautifully together. My favourite in this collection are I Am the Doorway, Children of the Corn, the Mangler, and the Woman in the Room.
