25% of the way through (chapter 9 pg. 92), Aiden does the worst thing a Dom could ever do.

he acts out of anger, ignores his sub’s obvious discomfort, fucks another woman on top of her calling her all types of derogatory terms, and orders another man to fucker her

yet he is not reprimanded for it, and instead, somehow thinks it’s okay to collar her a few days after and tell her to trust him after she freaks out every time he brings up punishment (at 37% through the book). I’m STRUGGLING to finish this story

The story line is good, up until for whatever reason, he refuses to let go of the site that he started to distract himself from her. It caused him a lot of guilt, and he thought he had a stalker from the site that put him in danger. And when she, and another person suggested he shut it down, he got defensive. She also told him the first night it was a dealbreaker for her, and instead of listening, he insisted he thinks she would enjoy being on the site too. Some red flags that never really got talked out between them, that she ends up having to deal with.

Lazarus’ self loathing was expected and obvious. For someone so old, his character comes off hardheaded and dumb. I did like that (stupidly late in the story) his hardheaded-ness was explained so it makes sense. I didn’t like how the Tobias storyline just ended abruptly with no real conclusion

his eyes clearing to blue as he runs away made him seem redeemable,

I’m hoping he gets a more concise ending.

Zenon’s story was not an easy read. He is tormented by a demon mistress who hold his life in her hands. He’s isolated himself from this knight brothers so much, they don’t know, and he doesn’t realize he’s found his mate until they tell him. We watch him fight for what he wants, who he wants in this heartbreaking story. 

This story was a bit all over the place, like the author could decide on 1 storyline. There’s inconsistencies

him saying she needs to get used to being poor, but then taking here, there, and everywhere

most annoyingly is the name of their baby changes from one page to another.
The dirty talk was good though, if you can look past the use of every term to refer to the female anatomy.
