You can tell a man wrote it. I wanted to know so much more about the characters.
The ~gayness~ Of the characters felt very clunky and obvious that it was NOT a gay woman writing about the character. </spoiler) The author was truly, fully on some homophobic and transphobic stereotypes that made the overall experience pretty shit. The writing was also painful at times. The only thing that kept me going was the desire to know how it was going to end and the general Scooby Doo theme.
informative relaxing fast-paced

I thought it would go more in depth about the movies - most of the book was describing the plot in great detail along with the author’s thoughts. It did feel like gossiping  with a friend about movies, but I wanted a bit more depth.

the ending fell very flat and I wish the world, characters, EVERYTHING was developed more. The ending could have been more dramatic or warped imo
