Barely a 3. The idea of the story seemed promising but I couldn’t care about the characters, everything felt lacking, and the story fell so flat. There was no momentum and barely any “horror”

Great for someone who loves watching the housewives.
HOWEVER! I absolutely hate the author. He is so gd annoying with his attempts to be funny that really just come off as ableist and cringey. Also there was WAY too much ass kissing of Erika in this (and also a handful of references to Israel? The references didn’t have any type of effort or nuance and it just felt careless (even for 2021)).

Exactly what you'd expect from this genre/author. I do think it was more boring than previous books though :/ no real twists or elaborate connections
