The audiobook narration was the most annoying thing. And the dialogue between characters was so cringey it was almost impossible to enjoy. I can’t sit through ~gen z talk~ more than I  did bc it’s painful. MAYBE I’m revisit it bc I heard this is god but the writing just isn’t for me :////

I just can’t get into it. I don’t like historical fiction and I cannot read about a non-child child

It’s fine but it’s so goddamn slow. I had to read this my senior year of high school and clearly there’s a reason I remembered nothing from it
