Cheesy beyond belief and maintaining an aggravating third person omniscient narrative style that confused character development, but I also understand why it's a best seller. Despite being an enormous cliche, it's heartwarming. It seems like the perfect book for a depressed young adult to read, at least for the beginning parts.
