Too many side characters and their plots, kinda boring. Was drawn to the reviews about how it’s a book about imperfect people but ultimately too slow. 15% in and not really invested in characters.

Really tried to get with the lack of “” but nope

My Name Is Barbra

Interesting, relaxing/introspective, and I liked her quirky comments. Part of me wanted to keep reading but 48 hours is just too long. I feel like it needed to/could’ve been way more concise.

Self Care

Characters are so unlikeable and not developed. I think the concept is great and touches on a much-needed topic of self care and the toxicity of social media but the satire was overpowered by how cringy it was. Ended up googling the ending.

I know it’s a play on rapunzel and supposed to be cheesy, but a little too cheesy for me

Slow and the book jacket basically told everything that happened

Emma is so unlikeable but going to switch to a modernized/abridged version!
