The short chapters + fast plot pace made this a quick, but disturbing, read.

Not a writing style that I particularly enjoyed. The author did cover one hot dog joint in Boston that holds a complex array of memories for me, so I appreciated her take on that, and most other, hot dog establishments. I have been thinking more about hot dogs than usual, so that’s something.
