DNF halfway through because I still don’t care what happens to any of the characters. Really interesting, weird stuff going on though, so if that’s your cup of tea, read on!!

There is a particular moment in this book that had me weeping. The rest of it was great, but this book is worth reading just to have that experience alone. I can’t wait for the sequel.

Not for me. Beautifully written and designed, but like Game of Thrones, it jumps between characters and creates distance from the character's feelings and experiences of the world. I could not get into it, but only for reasons of personal preferences. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Game of Thrones or other sweeping, complicated fantasy series.
