I enjoyed this sequel. It had a different feel to it then the first book. Amari has grown as a character and I'm looking forward to see how she continues to grow in the third book.

This was such a fantastical read. I like Amari's character. She reminds me of my niece. I can't wait to read the sequel.

I have so many feels about God of Fury. While reading God of Fury I laughed, cried, I got frustrated and wanted to throw the book. I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before reading.

Update: I just reread God of Fury since I actually decided to read the rest of the series in order. Brandon and Nikolai are my favorite characters of the Legacy of Gods series. I caught a few things that I had messed the first time.

I just love the cozy vibes that the story was throwing out. I read the book in one sitting.  The plot wasn't hard to follow and it was easy to get into the story without getting lost. I would've loved for it to be a little longer. 

Was Forged in Blood the best written book? No. Did it have some problems? Yes. Did I devour it like it was candy? Yes. Will I read the sequel? Possibly.
