After having been on my tbr for a few years I've finally read Strange the Dreamer. After finishing I can't believe it's taken me this long to read. I loved Lazlo and his story. That ending! I need to read Muse of Nightmares soon.

I love Margaret Rogerson's writing. One of my favorite books of all time is her Sorcery of Thorns. So when I heard she was writing a novella sequel I was excited. I read Mysteries of Thorn Manor in one sitting and have to say I absolutely loved it. Although now I want more of Silas.

I've been reading this series since the beginning. While I loved this installment in the series it just felt weird. I can't really explain why though. I liked that I got to see more of Gabriel's past and found out why his stepmother got to raise him instead of going to live with one of his parents families. I liked the growth of Gabriel and Sang's relationship.

I liked the concept of the book. It took me a little while to get into the story but I did enjoy it once I did. I will read the sequel once it comes out mostly because I want to one what Jay is hiding.

I read A Soul to Keep based off a friends recommendation who said that I would love it based on my reading style.  However while I enjoyed it I won't be continuing the series. The story just seemed to drag out and I couldn't connect to any of the characters. 

I loved this book so much. My first 5 star read of 2023. I loved the plot and the characters. It was wonderful reading about a girl who loved her mother so much that she would do what she did to save her mother. I liked the friend relationships that formed and can't wait to continue on in the second book.

This was a good start to a series. I liked Briddy and Amon's characters. I have a few guesses what Blondina really is. I can't wait to see how the series unfolds.

I was happy to be back in the world of Elfhame. While I enjoyed Oak's story thus far I just can't help but think there's something missing from the story. Maybe if it was written in dual pov and got some of Oak's pov?
