Just finished a reread. Still enjoyed it the second read through. Maybe this time I'll get around to reading the sequel before I forget what happens.

What a ride. I didn't realize that I needed winged vampires until I read this book. There are several different types of vampires and they don't particularly like one another. Oraya is the human adopted daughter of the King Vincent. Raihn is a Vampire. The two make an alliance to make it through the trials to get a favor/gift from the goddess. I can'  believe that ending. With the way it ended I need the sequel like right now.

I was a little underwhelmed with Wings of Ebony.  I liked Rue as a character. She was doubted herself sometimes but she was also brave. Which reminded me of what it means to be human. Many of us doubt ourselves but when we need to be we can be brave.

What the heck did I just read. I believe that this may be the weirdest book I've ever read and that's saying something considering I've read some weird ones. The story follows Tansi who is a human who grew up on a farm and has a weird fascination with dinosaurs. Her love interests is Big Al who happens to be an allosaurus. It wasn't bad but wasn't good either. I just couldn't seem to stop reading.

If you have any triggers I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before reading. This was one wild ride from start to end. You have Willow who is a witch on a mission and Gray is a Vessel aka a demon stuck in human form who has plans of his own. It does end on a little cliff hanger.

This was an interesting read. Addie was recovering from an accident and ended up having to go on her mom's honeymoon. There's ghost, a living and ever changing island, and a mysterious boy, oh my! That ending surprised me.

I would highly suggest to check trigger warnings before jumping into Styxx. If your looking for a happy and light read this book is not for you. Styxx is one of my favorite characters of all time. There is so much pain and sadness that he is put through in the book. I just want to take him and wrap him in bubble wrap and hide him from all the torture, pain, and sadness that he goes through.

I really like the art style of this volume. It kind of reminded me of SAO which I loved. The main character just doesn't know when to quit even though by the time he gets to a certain point he is a lone. I liked his character and can't wait to see what volume 2 has in store for him.

I love morally gray or villianous characters. This book series has four morally gray men Peter Pan, Vane, Kas, and Bash. This volume was full of blood, mystery, people that came back from the dead, and plenty of steamy scenes. I can't wait to read about Roc, Jas, and Wendy.
informative slow-paced

Really not sure what to say. I don't normally read books like this but it was interesting and informative. As a child I had a strange fasanation with dinosaurs and this story bought my love for the ancient creatures back for me. I believe that this book would make a great documentary.
