Having read You've Lost A Lot of Blood a few months ago, I went into this one with high hopes. Ultimately, it fell a bit flat for me. I read it in one sitting and was eager to find out where the story went, but it just didn't do it for me. This book seems to be quite polarizing that way. Nonetheless, I loved his other works that I've read and highly recommend him as an author.

I was gifted a copy of No Quarter in exchange for my honest review.

This book is simply beautiful, from the cover to the prose. Some passages were so gorgeous that I highlighted them to copy by hand into my book of quotes. I believe that everyone who reads it will get something different from it, some new interpretation. The plot does meander a bit, but I liked the places that it went. Four stars, highly recommended.
