A super fun storytime book. 
It has a shocking twist that might upset some readers (at least it upset my coworker when I read it to her).

I really loved the first half, and it would’ve been a 5, but I didn’t care for the 2nd half. 

I think having it be bad for Takako and Wada to hang on/wait for to their old love but fine for Satoru to wait for Momoko is thematically confusing.

Poor orange cat.

The art is vibrant but I wish it were pretty or gorgeous. I also wish there was more interplay with “the town”.

Also not a a fan of “The mouth on the drag queen goes blah, blah, blah”. Couldn’t it have been “get it girl” or “slaaaaay”?

I like that the crayons are consistent across books but at this point it is clearly a cash grab.

Not as funny as it should have been and not as cute as it could have been.
