I often find that romance novellas move too quickly and therefore doesn’t feel like natural progression. House is a master at pacing in a way that feels like it makes sense not just jumping ahead.

The subject matter made this a difficult read for me. But from the very beginning, I was captured by the plot and needed to know where the story would go. Even though it’s fiction, I think this is a very important book.
