Another DNF for 2021.
I made it about 20% through and just...didn't care. It felt choppy. I know it's told via teenage narrator but it felt like the author thinks teenagers aren't capable of complex thoughts or something? Meh.

The Earliest Relationship: Parents, Infants, and the Drama of Early Attachment
T. Berry Brazelton, Bertrand G. Cramer
I wasn't sure about this one at the beginning but once it got going it was rather interesting. I think it will help with my doula work, especially if the new little one is fussy and easily over-stimulated.
Raising Freethinkers: A Practical Guide for Parenting Beyond Belief
Amanda Metskas, Dale McGowan, Moleen Matsumura
Great book with a different way of looking at things. Quite pleased with the suggestions, the activities, and the resources that are provided as well.
Quick read. It made some interesting points and I ended up buying a couple of other books (like Grimm's Fairytales) as a result.
Afraid this one just wasn't for me. I can see people that like character driven novels LOVING this one, but that's not my preferred reading. I felt like there was a LOT of character stuff but not enough world building and not enough "things" that happened. *shrug*
