Meh. Story was all right but not a real page-turner. The names...the names were AWFUL. Part of the difficulty I had with this book may be related to the names, rather distracting IMO.
Meh. It was all right but it pretty much beat home the same thing over and over again. Got a bit boring.
Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything
Steven D. Levitt, Stephen J. Dubner
Interesting but a bit repetitive in spots.
Interesting book. Wasn't nearly as sad as I had thought it would be.
Very fun book. I learned a lot about Jewish life that I hadn't really thought about in day to day life. I knew about a lot of the stranger passages in the Bible so that didn't surprise me much. I found the part about the New Testament a bit flat, maybe because I already knew all of the history/passages or because I am exposed to so much Christianity on a regular basis anyway? In any event it was a good book and I do suggest it.
Full of information.
I *loved* this book. It was suspenseful, well written, and overall great. Thanks reddit for pointing me toward it!
