This didn't hit the same way that Sower did. It wasn't bad it was just...different. In a way I am not sure how to articulate.

You spend the entire book wondering how a MC can be so stupid.

These characters could be....anyone. I went in hoping something like Circe and just...nope. This wasn't it.

Read with my 9 year old. He rated it a 7/10. I'd never read it before and rather enjoyed it!

This was so good. So very well done.

This is just not for me. I don’t care for the characters. I heard it was “atmospheric” and that camp could have been literally anywhere. Just. No thank you.
