At some point I am going to learn that Marie Lu is not to be trusted. But not today, because I finished Warcross and feel completely betrayed by my own damn feels. Damn you, Marie Lu.

Unputdownable.

If you read any MG, it should be this one. SO GOOD

Absolutely haunting - and I'm not even talking about the ghosts.

I wasn't bought into the romance until the end and even then it felt jumbled. This is one of those rare books I would not recommend on audio as the narrators don't match the tone of the book.

Read this on release day and am now ready to take down the patriarchy.

I'm bummed with how bored I was reading this. No chemistry between Audrey and Thomas, a lackluster villain, and the tension from book one is missing.

This was just a completely feel good contemporary book. Would highly recommend for any book hangover.

Nyxia was set to be my favorite sci-fi book this fall but I just couldn't connect with it. In a world where competition was high and you knew characters who could become your favorite may not make it, I just never felt like I cared about anyone. The stakes didn't seem high enough and I was bored by the repetitive nature of the story. Would have loved to see more exploration of the alien lifeforms and also the corporation pulling the strings.
