Started off slower and then BOOM, completely heart racing.
This book has:
1. A relatable kick ass female hero
2. A Jessica Jones cameo
3. A Scooby team
4. A dragon
And you should read it.

The captain must go down with her ship. It's what comes back that will be interesting. Love this comic; one of my favs in 2016!
While I enjoyed the concept, the book was overall slow for me.
While I enjoyed the characters that Danielle created, the story did not have that pull I'd expect to go along with the mystery aspect. Overall, it's a forgettable story that I wanted more from.
Sometimes you pick up a backlist title because you need to get out of a slump. Best decision!
I have thoughts! But you'll have to wait to find out what they are ;)
WHEN CHRISTY AND NANCY MET DIMPLE AND RISHI
Describe Dimple and Rishi in 5 words. What was your reaction after finishing it?
Nancy: I adored Dimple & Rishi because they seemed like such an unusual couple with her being fiercely independent and wanting nothing but her freedom and him being totally smitten with her and having faith that things would work out. Such the opposites of attraction so you can imagine all the side splitting moments of laughter.
Christy: You're. Next. Read. No. Question. LOL. The main reaction on Twitter seems to be "the hype is REAL" and it totally is. Sandhya has taken a packed market and given it a twist that makes it irresistible and easily one of the best contemporary books you'll read in your lifetime. I was like, can has that deleted scene NOW PLEASE? (It can be yours if you preorder today and submit your receipt!)
There's a ton of contemporary reads out right now. Why should When Dimple Met Rishi be at the top of everyone's lists?
Nancy: Because it is simply an adorable read. Yes, it is deals with a culture that is different to mine but I felt that it complemented this quirky love story. In the end it was all about Dimple & Rishi and their journey towards one another.
Christy: It's summertime, which means time for cute beach reads. Plus, have you seen that cover?
What were the most unique aspects of the story?
Nancy: I really enjoyed the attention that was paid to food. So many meals and coffee shops that I was starving when I finished reading it.
Christy: The pacing! This is no insta-love story. Sandhya gives you that slow burn with these two that keeps you coming back and makes it realistic.
What surprised you the most while reading?
Nancy: How smexy a certain scene was. I was left fanning myself and needing a large glass of ice water when I was done with it. HAWT!!
Christy: ^ Totally that! What a pleasant surprise in a YA book.
What books would you recommend to people clamoring for more rom-coms and diverse reads?
Nancy: I Believe in a Thing Called Love by Maurene Goo and the To All the Boys I've Loved Before series by Jenny Han.
Christy: I will forever rec A Totally Awkward Love Story as my fav rom-com and second the diverse reads above! I'll also add Stacey Lee's Secret of a Heart Note, which is adorable.

This just cements that I have no business reading fantasy.
I listened to this book and would not recommend the narrator. She was so breathy to the point where I had to listen at regular experience and even then I couldn't understand many parts of the book.

A unique take on the transition that happens after high school. Gamers who love quest games (and even those who are not!) will appreciate classic elements written into a book that explores the journey from teen to adulthood and all of the complications that follow.
