Mermaids! Sea serpents! Rock music! It's under the sea for the Lumberjanes in Volume 5!
April learns a valuable lesson about not being selfish after stirring up some nasty sea monsters and causing trouble. Of course, Friendship to the Max reigns and the Lumberjanes help bail her out and bring rest to the people of the sea.

DNF at 20%. Just not my thing. Much more a fan of Rainbow's contemporary than this. I never had interest in Harry Potter so I'm definitely not the target audience! (Fangirl was great, though)
The short of it: You need this book in your life.
You'll need a therapist when you're done with this book. Your book hangover will be so intense that you'll want to cocoon yourself for days. The book takes you through every possible emotion you could have. You'll be smiling like an idiot and sobbing the next. You'll be angry and empathetic. You'll want to beat the crud out of her stepfather and yell at her mother. You may even not understand why things are happening at times.
Both characters and their experiences will ring true to what it's like to be like a teenager. It feels raw. But it's good. So good.

Holy COW. THAT ENDING!
Never Never feels so much longer than its short page count. The authors pack a ton of story in! There are mystery elements mixed with a little Romeo and Juliet. It's a book you won't want to want to put down.
What would you do if you suddenly woke up and remembered more about the Kardashians than your own life? What if you weren't sure you even liked your former self enough to want to remember? Never Never starts exploring these questions and lucky for us, we have two more books to answers the unknown.

This book very much feels like a middle book in a trilogy but it's still engaging. I really like Silas. Can I keep him?
My one complaint is the entire trilogy is really one book.

It was...an ending. Not super satisfying but it got the job done.
I think we all have moments where we wish we could undo the parts of ourselves that become ingrained because of our circumstances. This series helps to explore that. I too wish that destiny would create opportunities to undo things but then that's the point, right? Free will and all.

Weirdworld isn't just a story, it's an experience made possible by art and script written completely in sync.
You'll fall in love with WeirdWorld and all of its characters. You'll wish for Becca to have something finally go right (which happens briefly in the last issue). Truly, the comic is a literal and figurative trip!

Fans of 90s Nickelodeon and MTV cartoons will love this little graphic novel!
Gertrude just wants to live in a world filled with laughter and magic so lucky her when her wish is granted, right? Mmm 27 years later, green-haired Gert is still trapped in Fairyland, trying to find the elusive key that will take her back home. In the meantime, she's terrorizing the land however she can. The queen of the land isn't a Gertrude fan but committed to her safety so she has to find another way to get Gertrude out!
Be careful what you wish for!

Luna the vampire is a young adult trying to navigate her (space) world. The short stories explore some of the messaging and things youth have to deal with; Luna being in space and a vampire does not make her exempt from the experiences.
I'd recommend this story for fans of Cartoon Network shows who are middle school or older.

The thing about Another Day is it should have been a novella. It's the same story as the first book but from Rhiannon's POV. There's nothing added. It's not that the book is bad, it's just not something new.
David Levithan - Give us more A! We want to know more! Hopefully book 3 will give us the next chapter in his story.
