This was the perfect mystery thriller because the stakes remained high, there were so many times you're thrown off course (or are you?), everyone is a suspect, the characters are built out, and it's told in an epistolary format that keeps you fully in it. Perfect for October and ALL YEAR ROUND!

I have accepted that this series just isn't for me and that makes me SO SAD.

I excused myself from reading these and now I see what a bad idea that was.

This is slow and the characters are under developed. Sadly a miss for me

It is so hard to rate this book because it’s a unique story with a lot of moving parts that mostly works? The ending has me wanting more, for sure.

Most star wars fans get to experience the wars part of the world but I’m equally interested in the cultures and worlds within the universe. Doctor Aphra shows us a completely different side of Star Wars and I’m here for it!
