I watched the show before reading the comic so it’s nice to experience it in another medium. Overall the art isn’t my fave but I enjoyed it.

The only reason I haven’t billed Heather for all the times she has smashed my heart into little pieces is because she always manages to put it back together again at the end.

I loved the art here and my biggest complaint is I want this story to be built out like Poe Dameron’s graphic novels!

Demetra Brodsky's debut, Dive Smack, was my favorite book of 2018 and she's back with her sophomore story that completely enraptured me. Told in parallel stories that converge in a way that will make you gasp aloud as they converge, Last Girls is a story perfect for the current world as it explores hope, connection, and the things we hold onto when times are difficult. I won't soon forget the Juniper Sisters!
